WHAT THIS IS

You bring a racket. We've done the rest.

Four nights in a nine-room country house fifteen minutes from Faro Airport. Three days of padel at three different clubs across the Algarve. Ninety minutes of coaching every morning, then organised match play — Americano, Mexicano, and on the Monday, a social tournament against players who live here.

Every court booked. Every minibus arranged. Every breakfast on. Two group dinners, one of them a BBQ on the lawn with a DJ and live music while the sun goes down behind the orchard.

Twice during the week there's yoga on the roof terrace at sunrise — forty-five minutes of hips, shoulders and rotation, which is exactly what three days of padel takes out of you. Optional, included, and nobody's counting who came.

And every single match you play gets scored. By Tuesday you'll have a real level — a number you've earned across a week of games — and it comes home with you.

THE PROGRAMME

The five days.

Friday 23 · Oct

Land and settle in

Check in from half one. An optional knockabout at a local club for anyone who'd rather not sit still after the flight, then the briefing, your Rallyd setup, and dinner at Siam.

Saturday 24 · Oct

Padel Blu, Albufeira

Yoga on the roof at sunrise for anyone who wants it. Then coaching, and an Americano where everyone plays with everyone — the leaderboard moves for the first time. Afternoon and evening free.

Sunday 25 · Oct

Vilamoura Tennis & Padel Academy

Coaching on the academy's courts — the shots that decide social padel — then a Mexicano seeded off your live Rallyd rating. Afternoon and evening free, and the marina is five minutes away.

Monday 26 · Oct

Vale do Lobo, the tournament, and the BBQ

Recovery yoga at sunrise, then Vale do Lobo: a last coaching block, lunch, and the Algarve Social Tournament — mixed teams, local players, eight courts. It decides the tour. That evening: BBQ on the lawn, live music, a DJ, and the awards.

Tuesday 27 · Oct

One more swim, then home

Breakfast in no hurry, then depending on your flight: the pool, the beach, a long lunch, or one last hit if enough people want a court. Faro Airport is fifteen minutes away.

WHERE YOU'LL PLAY

Three clubs in five days

The Algarve has more than fifty padel courts and one of the strongest recreational scenes in Europe. We're not going to show you one of them.

Albufeira

Padel Blu

A modern club in the Algarve's liveliest town, ten minutes from the old quarter and the beach. Our first full day, and the one where the coaching starts from the ground up.

Vilamoura

Vilamoura Tennis & Padel Academy

A proper academy with its own padel school, leagues and pro shop, five minutes from the marina. Our Sunday venue.

Come home with a level, not just a tan

Most padel holidays end and leave nothing behind. This one keeps score.

Rallyd runs the tour from your WhatsApp. No app to download, no account to create, no password to forget.

Before you fly. Answer up to five quick questions about how you play — or just pick your level if you already know it. Your 1–7 level appears straight away. One tap sends a pre-filled WhatsApp message to claim it, and you get your rating card and a personal profile link back. No app, no account, no password.
On tour. Your schedule, your court, your partners and the live leaderboard all live on one page. Results go in after each session and every player gets a personal message with their updated level.
After you land. Your profile stays yours — your level, your record, your trend. Play at your home club and the same number carries. It's the standard 1–7 scale that clubs and federations work from, so it means something outside this tour — not a score that only exists here.

Self-assessment can only seed you up to 4.5. Above that has to be earned on court.

"Am I actually any good?" is the most asked question in every padel group chat in Europe. Five days here answers it.

WHERE YOU'LL STAY

Nine rooms. Twelve of us. That's the whole place.

Mercedes Country House sits in the hills above Faro — a working farm with orange trees running down to the pool, a rooftop terrace with a view towards the coast, and nine rooms, no two the same.

With twelve players, the tour effectively takes over the property. No lobby, no lift queue, no wristbands. Breakfast includes eggs from the hens outside.

Siam, the Thai restaurant on site, is the reason a lot of guests come back — Chef Ray grows the herbs in the garden. Our welcome dinner is there.

Faro Airport is fifteen minutes away.

WHY HERE

Three hundred days of sun, and everybody plays

October is the Algarve's best-kept secret. The summer crowds have gone, the sea is still warm enough to swim, and the afternoons sit somewhere in the mid-twenties — which is roughly perfect for playing two hours of padel and then not moving for the rest of the day.

It's also a padel country. Portugal took to the sport early and hard, and the Algarve has courts everywhere: resort academies, town clubs, and a social scene that runs on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings, the same as yours does at home.

Between sessions there's the rest of it. The Ria Formosa lagoon and its islands, twenty minutes from the house. Praia da Falésia, where the cliffs go orange at six. Faro's walled old town. Olhão's market on a Saturday. Grilled fish that costs less than a sandwich in Dublin, and a bottle of something local to go with it.

WHO YOU'RE TRAVELLING WITH

Project Padel

Project Padel runs indoor clubs in Galway and Mayo — coaching blocks, social padel evenings, corporate days and league nights. Hundreds of players a week come through the doors. This is a padel operation that added a tour, not a travel company that added padel. See what a Project Padel night actually looks like → @projectpadel.ie

Coaching on tour is led by qualified Algarve-based coaches, working in small groups so you actually get seen and corrected rather than standing in a queue. We'll introduce them by name in the tour WhatsApp group before you fly.

Rallyd

Rallyd is the system underneath recreational padel: signups, ratings, results and WhatsApp notifications, all from one link, with nothing to download. It already powers court booking and memberships at Project Padel. On tour, it runs everything.

BEFORE YOU ASK

What level do I need to be?

Comfortable playing social doubles. Mixed levels work — the formats rotate partners and the draws are balanced off real ratings.

I'd be coming on my own. Is that odd?

No. Roughly half of a tour like this books solo. Twelve people, three courts, rotating partners — you'll know everyone by Friday night.

Do I need to download anything?

No. Everything runs through WhatsApp and one web link.

TWELVE PLACES

There are twelve places. That's the whole tour.

Nine rooms, three courts, one group. When it's full, it's full — and the next one won't be at this price.

€250 holds your place. Balance due 9 September 2026.
